Package: sleuthkit
Version: 3.0.1-2
Severity: wishlist

As libewf-dev is available in Debian nowadays it would be nice if
sleuthkit could compile against it so support for the Expert Witness
Compression format is available within sleuthkit.

Building the Debian package with libewf-dev installed:

[...]
checking libewf.h usability... yes
checking libewf.h presence... yes
checking for libewf.h... yes
checking for libewf_open in -lewf... yes
[...]

So AFAICS all that's necessary to support libewf is adding
libewf-dev to Build-Depends.
