Package: gs-esp
Version: 7.07.1-9
Severity: normal

gs-esp fails to crop the output as per the bounding box when generating
PNG output. On the other hand gs-gpl works properly.

Command used:
gs-esp -sDEVICE=pnggray -sOutputFile=test.png -dEPSCrop \
        -q -dbatch -dNOPAUSE test.ps -c quit

Benchmark case: (gs-gpl version 8.01-5)
gs-gpl -sDEVICE=pnggray -sOutputFile=rest.png -dEPSCrop \
        -q -dbatch -dNOPAUSE test.ps -c quit

File:
=========test.ps=====================================
%!PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-2.0
%%Title: test.ps
%%CreationDate: Sat Feb 19 12:59:05 2005
%%BoundingBox: 0 0 8 8
%Magnification: 1.0000
%%EndComments
%
/Times-Roman findfont 190.50 scalefont setfont
2790 3780 moveto
gsave 1 -1 scale (a) show grestore
showpage
%%Trailer
%EOF
=========end of test.ps===============================
Bug:
file test.png gives output
test.png: PNG image data, 595 x 842, 8-bit grayscale, non-interlaced

file rest.png gives output
rest.png: PNG image data, 8 x 8, 8-bit grayscale, non-interlaced

The latter conforms to the bounding box but the former doesn't.

Thanks and Regards,

Kapil.
