Package: pure-ftpd-mysql
Version: 1.0.21-11.4
Severity: normal

Pure-ftpd is set to log hostnames instead of IP addresses. When someone has an
invalid hostname (that doesn't translate back to the IP) it is not possible to
discern the appropriate IP. This makes it much harder to put the IP into a block
list when it is flooding.
It can be resolved by allowing the option -H to be added to pure-ftpd. I
couldn't
work my way through the init script and didn't know where to add this option in
there.
