Package: procps
Version: 1:3.1.8-1
Severity: minor
You can set the refresh delay to 0, for isntance with 's 0' in the top
window. After that, top starts eating most of the CPU time, which is
normal. However, hitting 's' to set the delay to a more decent value, or
'q' to quit, have no effect. Control-c effectively kills top, but that
may not be what one wants.
I suppose top should look at the key strokes it got even before checking
if the delay is over.
Alternatively, forbidding setting the delay to 0 would also be
acceptable, IMHO.
