Package: nautilus-cd-burner
Version: 2.24.0-3
Severity: normal
Right-click on a .iso file; in this example, one that is 2.1GB.
Click "write to disc".
Check that an actual burner drive, not "File Image" is selected in "Write disc
to".
Click "Write".
The prompt says "Please put a disc, with at least 2.1 GiB free, into the
drive.".
But if I were to put a partially written media, with more than 2.1GiB free,
it would not work. Burning an image needs a truly blank media.
This prompt suggests to me it is not going to burn it as an image, but is going
to
copy the .iso file as a file to the CD, adding it to the already present
filesystem
on the media, or creating a new one if the media is truly blank.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/531701 in Debian BTS
against the package nautilus-cd-burner. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it
will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/559472. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
