Desktao display doesn't show any text. I've read the README file, and
checked that the DeskQuotes sensor is installed, still however I
configure it, it doesn't show any part of the text file.

Hello,

The desktao parser which reads the source file is currently completely
broken, therefore making the desklet completely useless. At the moment,
upstream is unwilling to fix it.

I will therefore remove desktao from the Debian package. If someone
fixes / provides a patch for desktao, I will happily readd it, but I
currently don't have time to fix the parser myself (it is probably not
very complex, it's quite a simple parser).

I close this report, as it will not be relevant anymore very soon.

Sorry for not being able to fix this bug,
