Hi,
The mumble package does not include the sound files in the
mumble/samples folder[1]. Perhaps a mumble-sounds on recommends that
installs them to /usr/share/sounds/mumble (or suitable other location).
However, upon further inspection bundling the Vorbis files provided by
Mumble would also add a build dependency on libogg-dev. An alternative
would be to provide the sound files in WAVE format, which Mumble can
read without extra dependencies (but results in a larger package).

The sound files are embedded in the binary and are available under the
:/ filespace in the application. Mumble uses libsndfile, so has no
trouble reading vorbis files.
