Package: iceweasel
Version: 2.0.0.1+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
using the mousewheel to scroll on pages that have non-moving backgrounds
(for example http://www.jonobacon.org) is excessively slowly with
iceweasel. note that upstream firefox (2.0.0.1) does not suffer from this
problem (as can be tested by viewing the example page under that browser).
other browsers affected by this bug are iceape (1.0.7-2) and galeon
(2.0.2-4). unaffected are konqueror (3.5.5a) and epiphany (2.14.3-4).
thanks for the hard work.

It should have gotten much much better with iceweasel 3.0. I'll close
this bug, but please feel free to reopen if that is not true.

While I do understand it could be a problem, I do think it is not the
same problem. Please feel free to file a new bug if that still happens
with iceweasel 3.5.
Cheers,
