Package: w3c-markup-validator
Version: 0.6.7-2
Severity: normal
File: /usr/lib/cgi-bin/checklink
All the sudden I get lots of
"The link was not checked due to robots exclusion rules"
but there is not hint of a change in
cd /usr/share/doc/w3c-markup-validator/; zgrep -n -i robot *
Anyway, please give the user a way to override this, otherwise
it much defeats the purpose of the program for us small, home, once a
month users.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/277377 in Debian BTS
against the package w3c-linkchecker. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/553903. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
