README.Debian says :
"When KVM is operating at full speed, the virtual machine window title will say
"QEMU/KVM""
which is not true anymore.
Here is a diff on README.Debian which provides a way to the user to check the
enabling of kvm acceleration. Please consider this one as it was a source of
confusion for me (and so maybe for other people too).
Feel free to reformulate as i'm not a good english speaker.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/554886 in Debian BTS
against the package kvm. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/562620. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
