Subject: Bug#496900: RT2500 still fails to connect on kernel 2.6.26-1-686
Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2008 17:16:34 +0200
Hi,
on my new installed debian-lenny, I'm still not able to use my wlan-card
D-Link DWL-G122 rev. B1.
I tried the inbuild module in 2.6.26-1-686, it activates the card and
iwlist wlan0 scan finds my access point - but it's impossible to get an
IP with dhcp.
Then I tried to compile my own driver with
rt2500-source_1.1.0-b4+cvs20080623-2 - and it still fails to connect.
The card's Lnk-light is on permanently, but nothing happens if I do
dhclient wlan0 - it receives no dhcpoffers.
Regards,
sigi

this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
