Package: bluez-gnome
Version: 0.27-1
Severity: important

The bluetooth panel applet is quite useless to me. If I have a bluetooth mouse,
the applet correctly shows it as a mouse device. I expect that when I click on
"Connect", a connection with the mouse will be made and that I can use the
mouse from that point on. However, despite knowing that the device is a mouse,
it tries to make an OBEX connection to the mouse. Making OBEX connections in
itself fails as well, because even though gnome-vfs-obexftp is installed, I get
a dialog box saying obex:// protocol not being recognized.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/501558 in Debian BTS
against the package bluez-gnome. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/564571. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
