--max-path len
All outgoing articles are checked to see if the length of
their paths are not too long. This is an extra precaution
against inadvertently submitting foreign articles for posting.
This option sets the maximum path length allowed. The default
value is 1, consistent with a simple, local, newsspool. To dis-
able this feature, set it to an impossibly large value, like
999.
Newsx seems to ignore this option. Articles with longer paths are always
posted to the server if the storage token is in the outgoing queue.
Here's a sample debug output:

I used the "-n" option here, but newsx also ignores the --max-art option
if -n is omitted. If --max-art is omitted, it's set to the default value
of 1 and is still ignored.
Please look into this and see if anything can be done.
