Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.9.4-1
Severity: important
I cannot enter anymore content to opened files: At the time I enter a date in a
cell, it doesn't get entered to the cell but instead stays in the input field.
This looks very much like what is reported here :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/333139 and which seems
to be addressed upstream in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=575267
However, the version in Debian seems more recent, so I suspect either a
regression or a missing backport.
I can see the following on the commandline :
$ gnumeric
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: scg_edit_start: assertion `IS_SHEET_CONTROL_GUI
(scg)' failed
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: wbcg_edit_finish: assertion `IS_SHEET
(wbcg->editing_sheet)' failed
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: wbcg_edit_finish: assertion `IS_SHEET
(wbcg->editing_sheet)' failed
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: wbcg_edit_finish: assertion `IS_SHEET
(wbcg->editing_sheet)' failed
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: sheet_update_only_grid: assertion `IS_SHEET
(sheet)' failed
** (gnumeric:406): CRITICAL **: wbcg_edit_finish: assertion `IS_SHEET
(wbcg->editing_sheet)' failed
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
