Package: libclutter-0.8-0
Version: 0.8.8-2
Severity: normal
File: libclutter
Hi,
when running a clutter application through ssh -Y, it segfaults in clutter
initialization.
Here's an example with sol-clutter, but other apps have the same behavior:
[...@bip:~]$ gdb sol-clutter
GNU gdb (GDB) 6.8.50.20090628-cvs-debian

(gdb) r
Starting program: /usr/games/sol-clutter
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'sol-clutter' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length erro'.
(Details: serial 113 error_code 16 request_code 144 minor_code 17)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
