Hi!
We just had an power failure on our nagios system, so the system was not shut
down cleanly. However upon restart ndoutils silently failed to start. Even a
manual /etc/init.d/ndoutils didn't showed any sign of a problem (but ndoutils
wasn't started).
The problems seems to be the existing /var/cache/nagios3/ndo.sock from the
crashed instance. Removing that file solved the starting problem and it seems
to work again.
