Package: bacula-director-sqlite3
Version: 5.0.0-2
Severity: important

I set the severity to important as the upgrade fails with existing
databases.

In the source distribution is a script to update tables from 3.x
database (V11) to the new version (V12). However the debconf method only
allow to create a new database or leave it as it is.

It is no choose to create a new database and with the old database the
director fails to start.

So please either consider to include upgrade capability to the debconf
way or provide the update script anywhere.
(/usr/share/doc/bacula-directory-sqlite3/*)

As you can see below I did try both but the new creation trows many
errors and I had to restore the database to convert it with the script
from the source.

 .
   * Change behavior for automated installs when no local database is
     available (Closes: #542381)

     - thanks to Brett Profitt <[email protected]> (Closes: #525371).
   * Remove original fix for #542381, as the second fix is better.
   * Bump debhelper compatibility level to 5
