Hello,
the documentation says that to use the SQL interface, one needs
an SQL file to setup the data base. This file is apparently
missing from the distribution. The docs say it's here:
mrproject/src/plugins/sql/database.sql
This file should be included in the package, imho.

The stable version of Mr.Project (nowadays called Planner) available starting
with Sarge offers the required file at /usr/share/planner/sql/database.sql and
also offers additional SQL utility files:
/usr/share/planner/sql/database.sql
/usr/share/planner/sql/database-0.11.sql
/usr/share/planner/sql/database-0.13.sql
/usr/share/planner/sql/upgrade-0.6.x-0.11.sql
/usr/share/planner/sql/upgrade-0.11-0.13.sql
Thus, this bug no longer applies to current Debian packages and I am closing it.
