Hello,
Since 1:2.22.2~1 gnome-desktop-environment Depends on cheese. This is really nice, but not everybody
on the planet has a webcam, so this package is useless.
Please downgrade the cheese Depends to a Recommends since having a webcam is not a must for a
working desktop.

Description: The GNOME Desktop Environment
This is the GNOME Desktop environment, an intuitive and attractive
desktop.
.
This package depends on the standard set of applications that are part
of the official GNOME release. It provides much of what is necessary
for daily use of a personal computer, including web browsing, email,
CD burning and ripping, encryption tools, audio and video playback,
network and communication tools, document viewers, remote desktop
utilities, and much more.
Since cheese is an official GNOME desktop module, gnome-desktop-environment
depends on it. And since gnome-desktop-environment is just a meta package, you
can remove it if you don't like the set of applications it brings in.
Cheers,
Emilio
