Package: dasher
Version: 4.7.3-1
Severity: normal

When dasher is being displayed (either when it is the front window, or
when it is visible through a transparency) it causes Xorg to use 87-90%
of one of my CPUs. When it is minimized, Xorg uses approximately 7-8%.

I am using xserver-xorg-video-intel and compiz. Please let me know if
you need further information; I am happy to provide it.

Nope. It uses only about 40% of the CPU and is much, much smoother. I
think the CPU usage is appropriate given the improvement in smoothness,
so I'm closing this bug.
