Package: nagios2
Version: 2.11-1+b1
Severity: normal
Hi,
I'm just playing with nagios and see following in log:
May 16 14:22:15 bobek nagios2: Warning: Attempting to execute the command
"/usr/bin/printf "%b" "***** Nagios *****\n\nNotification Type:
+RECOVERY\n\nService: zombie procs\nHost: cnsc1-1\nAddress: 10.33.0.10\nState:
OK\n\nDate/Time: Fri May 16 14:22:15 CEST
+2008\n\nAdditional Info:\n\nPROCS OK: 0 processes with STATE = Z" | /bin/mail
-s "** RECOVERY alert - cnsc1-1/zombie procs is OK **"
[email protected]" resulted in a return code of 127. Make sure the script or
binary you are trying to execute actually exists...
I found that there is no /bin/mail on my system.
z...@bobek:~$ apt-cache search /bin/mail
mailutils - GNU mailutils utilities for handling mail
mailx is currently transitinal package to bsd-mailx and it contains
/usr/bin/bsd-mailx. Shoud be this handled by alternatives?
(Maybe bsd-mailx should provide alternative link /bin/mail and it is a bug of
it then. I don't know.)
Regards
