sash doesn't use the exit status of the last command as its exit status.
This is a problem when you're using sash as root's shell. If you run
a command remotely you won't know if it fails. Eg, if sash is root's
shell on jones and you have a script which runs
ssh jones backup-database ||
warn "jones database backup failed (exit status $?)"
it won't warn if the database backup fails. There is a workaround (exec
backup-database), but you shouldn't need to have to do that (and you'll
probably have to learn the hard way that you need to, as I did).
PS: In a similar vein, the built in exit command should take an argument.
