When I have updates available, and click on the tray icon to see the list
with the updates and their description of what changes will be done, there
is no response. In order to install the updates i have to right-click the
icon, and then install updates.

Closing this bug, since it is no bug in update-notifier. It was a bug
is update-manager which should be fixed already.
