Package: tuxtype
Version: 1.5.17.dfsg1-3
Severity: normal

I've attempted to edit the Lesson_1.xml file to adapt the home key test to
the german keyboard layout. On QWERTZ keyboards the home keys are:
asdf jklö
so I s/;/ö/g in the Lesson_1.xml file. When running the lesson the correct
glyph is displayed, yet it is not recognized as valid input.

Good.

the README has some spare info about this.

Great ;-) (Really.)

I've just uploaded tuxtype 1.8.1-1 to Debian sid, if you can, please test that
version. It is available for i386 already and should be soon for other
architectures.

cheers,
