Package: multipath-tools
Version: 0.4.8-14+lenny2
Severity: wishlist
When you resize a SAN LUN, you have to rescan all block devices with
echo 1 > /sys/block/sdX/rescan
This is not sufficient for the multipath map to be resized.
RedHat/CentOS 5 have added a command to the multipathd command-line mode
(-k) : resize map.
This is really usefull.
Without that, you have to umount filesystems and deactivate the potential volume
group that seats on the multipath device.

So I'm marking this bug as fixed in the sid version. Thanks for checking
