Package: freeciv
Severity: wishlist

xaw3d is not only ugly, but also the layout of the freeciv xaw client is
being destroyed, as the xaw3d widgets have wrong sizes. Moreover, xaw3d
hampers usability. (Scroll bars do not behave xaw-like.)

Those who choose to use the xaw client (instead of the gtk one), probably
do so because they actually *prefer* xaw (like myself) -- and those do
want *real* xaw, not some broken gtk/whatever lookalike.

I'd like to see a real freeciv-client-xaw beside or instead of
freeciv-client-xaw3d.

thanks

I don't see a compelling reason to package yet another freeciv client.
see /usr/share/doc/freeciv-data/README.Debian for some brief comments
on the xaw* clients.
