When I disconnect the AC power adapter in my HP EliteBook 6930p laptop, it
starts to spawn many copies of ssh-agent:

I have to pkill ssh-agent regularly in order to keep enough system resources to
work.

I'm using KDE4 with the battery monitor applet for power management:

$ dbus-send --print-reply --dest=org.kde.kded /kded org.kde.kded.loadedModules
| grep power
      string "powerdevil"

Please, ask for any other info you need to diagnose this.

Thank you and regards.
