Package: uim-xim
Version: 0.4.9.1-1

Problem description:
When using UIM as input method for japanese (canna), it starts using lots of
memory in xorg that is never released. This is visible through two entries in
"xrestop":

res-base Wins GCs Fnts Pxms Misc Pxm mem Other Total PID Identifier
2600000 20 107 1 3225 16 322102K 4K 322106K ? uim
2400000 15 18 1 3218 12 321700K 2K 321702K ? <unknown>

Both go up constantly as more input is given, regardless of which type (both
regular text and japanese text trigger it).
My current setup consists of running the following commands:
uim-xim --engine=canna &
export xmodifie...@im=uim
export GTK_IM_MODULE="uim"
uim-toolbar-gtk-systray &

Killing the systray toolbar does not change anything here, so I suppose it is
safe to say it hasn't got anything to do with this.
This bug forces me to reboot my workstation roughly every 12 hours to free the
memory; the xrestop snippet was taken after 13 hours of uptime with some
non-intensive OpenOffice text processing and irc traffic.

Thanks in advance,

Lennert
