Placing the file of a additional Latex package in ~/texfm/tex/latex/packagename
as documented in /usr/share/doc/tex-common/TeX-on-Debian.txt.gz does not work.
Running texhash does not index ~/texfm. But even calling
texhash ~/texfm
doesn't help.
I did not change anything to the settings in /etc/texfm.
Despite the fact the the documentation should be updated, I am interested on a
workaround to that problem.
