Package: apt-proxy
Version: 1.9.15
Severity: wishlist

Backend URLs using usernames and passwords do not seem to be supported.
For example,

    backends = http://username:[email protected]/pub/debian/

just gives a bunch of tracebacks with the error

    twisted.internet.error.ServiceNameUnknownError: Service name given
    as port is unknown: service/proto not found.

but this sounds like it could be a shortcoming in twisted, or perhaps
the way apt-proxy uses it.
