Package: apt-proxy
Version: 1.9.36
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

In bugreport #386546 ( http://bugs.debian.org/386546 )
is a fix for providing a (error)page when too few slashs found.

What about making that apt-proxy top page, a status page?

The human readable HTML page will provide information as:

 * apt-proxy version number
 * the (upstream) on-line/off-line status
 * (links to) backends

Cheers
Geert Stappers
