apt-proxy appears to work, at least from the machine it is installed
on (aptitude intall'd two packages). apt-proxy-import does not.

Here is the output of "apt-proxy-import /var/cache/apt/archives":

The above named Ubuntu bug (#4844) alludes to the fact
that the packages files under /var/cache/apt-proxy/.apt-proxy
may be empty. Couldn't check that because they are Berkeley DB and
I don't know how to view them.

FWIW, I also tried
"bunzip2 -c Packages.bz2 | gzip -c -9 > Packages.gz"
then reran "apt-proxy-import /var/cache/apt/archives"
but that gave no better results than after having just
bunzip'd the files.

Anyway to fix this ? I'm on dial-up and would really love
not having to redownload the stuff for two other machines on
my LAN.

Thanks
