I have tried updating this package, but it does not work. This package depends
on python >= 2.5 and < 2.6, but in Squeeze the python package is already > 2.6.
Why does this package depend on python and not on python2.5 so that it can be
installed normally?

This version compiles for both python 2.5 and python 2.6 and install the
libraries for both the versions.
