Package: cfs
Version: 1.3.3-8

I decided to move a large directory structure under cfs.

So, to start, I did:

find source -type d | (cd /crypt/target; xargs mkdir)

After a few seconds, I started getting error messages:

mkdir: cannot create directory `source': Connection refused
mkdir: cannot create directory `source': Connection refused
mkdir: cannot create directory `source': Connection refused
mkdir: cannot create directory `source': Connection refused
mkdir: cannot create directory `source': Connection refused

Interrupting the pipe, I found that I got Connection refused
for any attempt to access the target directory. Attempting
to cdetach it, I got: RPC: Unable to receive

When I tried to cattach it, I got the same error (RPC: Unable to
receive).

Stopping and restarting cfsd worked. And, removing the directory
structure and using:

find target -type d | while read d; do mkdir -p /crypt/source/$d; done

So this looks like some kind of race condition.

Thanks,

You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/74044 in Debian BTS
against the package cfs. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/595352. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
