Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.4-2sarge2
Severity: important

After the security upgrade clicking on the "Display your books" icon to bri=
ng
up the bookmark sidebar cause the browser to crash every time.

The Bookmarks menu item works fine.

I tried to move the .mozilla directory aside before starting firefox after a
crash, however it still crashed (after adding the icon back to the toolbar).

You add the icon by right clicking on toolbar (say the home icon), then sel=
ect
customize. Drag the book looking thing to the toolbar. I have not changed=
 my
extensions, but currently have Live Headers 0.10 installed from Debian and
these downloaded out of band:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ egrep 'em:(name|version)'
.mozilla/firefox/*/extensions/Exte=
nsions.rdf=20
                   em:version=3D"0.2.1"
                   em:name=3D"Locate in Bookmark Folders"
                   em:version=3D"0.5.2.039"
                   em:name=3D"Adblock"
                   em:version=3D"0.6.0"
                   em:name=3D"Sort Bookmarks"
                   em:version=3D"0.4"
                   em:name=3D"Cookie Button"
                   em:version=3D"1.2.0"
                   em:name=3D"OpenBook"
                   em:version=3D"0.5.9.6"
                   em:name=3D"FlashGot"

I tried to disable my extensions to make it as vanilla as possible, however
doing so crashed the browser. After that just selecting the Tools | Extens=
ions
menu causes a crash.

Hello submitters,

Security update 1.0.4-2sarge2 was an extremely bug ridden release, it
generated a lot of bug reports. Instead of going through them all and
making sure they're all fixed, I'm going to assume 1.0.4-2sarge3 fixed
things and close them. If you're still experiencing problems under
1.0.4-2sarge3, please reopen.

Sorry for the trouble.
