Package: libmyodbc
Version: 5.1.6-1
Severity: normal
I expect the diff file supplied to be applicable to the orig file.
Unfortunately this is not the case:
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/myodbc/myodbc_5.1.6-1.diff.gz
does not match
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/myodbc/myodbc_5.1.6.orig.tar.gz
Applying the diff creates a lot of errors:

You are mistaken. You appear to be applying the patch by hand with wrong
options; the package extracts just fine using dpkg-source.
