Package: evolution
Version: 2.22.2-1.1
Severity: important
When I receive a meeting request, Evolution just displays the message
part, but gives me no option to accept or decline the meeting. The
majority of my meeting requests come from Exchange/Outlook users, but
I also tested it from gmail and the same thing happens.

Since this had not been working I hadn't been using it. But at your
prompting (thank you!) I have now tested the version 2.30.3-2 from
Squeeze. The problem seems to have been resolved in the time between
2.22.3.1-1 and 2.30.3-2. Meeting requests are once again recognized
as meeting requests.
As to your comment about plugins I don't have any plugins installed.
Therefore I don't see how it could be related to a "Prefer plain text"
plugin. In my normal mailer (mutt) I do prefer plain text email. But
the entire purpose for me using evolution was to be able to handle
meeting requests and the odd html email and therefore in evolution had
always used the display html text email setting.
Since this problem doesn't seem to exist anymore I am closing this
bug.
Bob
