It seem to hang when processing /dev/sdb if I understand correctly. /dev/sdb is actually a small USB disk that is integrated into the same USB stick as the 2GB /dev/sdc USB disk. When I insert this USB stick into a regular Lenny machine I get this:

So /dev/sdb is just an another innocent small 5MB usb storage disk. It's strange that partman can be getting trouble with this.

How can I get more debug informations from partman to go deeper into the analysis ?

Note: I first tried a AMD64 install that have the same exact problem before giving this report from a i386 install. The machine is only 2 days old and run without problem Windows 7 and Meego 1.1, so no hardware failure is expected.

Regards,

Jean-Christian de Rivaz
