Hello,
please make the watchdog init-script configure-able via
/etc/default/watchdog, so that one doensn't need to change
the init-script itself.
A simple
run_watchdog=0
watchdog_options=""
test -f /etc/default/watchdog && . /etc/default/watchdog'
while /etc/default/watchdog contains
# Set run_watchdog to 1 to start watchdog or 0 to disable it.
run_watchdog=0
# Specify additional watchdog options here (see manpage).
watchdog_options=""
should do the trick.
A simple debconf would be an option too.
regards,
Mario
