Hi,

when using SynCE over USB, synce-serial-start has to be launched by
hand by root. Apart from the obvious inconveniency caused, the problem
is that sometimes the iPaq appears as /dev/ttyUSB1 instead of
/dev/ttyUSB0 (and I suppose that if I plug several USB-to-serial
devices, SynCE will get even more confused).
Would it be possible to integrate synce-serial-start/abort with hotplug,
to have it automatically start with the right /dev/ttyUSB? port ?

Thanks,
        Xav
