As long as I remember "cal -m" on all my GNU/Linux machines for the past
15 years, was the way to see a calendar for the current month with
Monday as the first day of the week (check bsdmainutils-6.1.10ubuntu3).
IMHO both Debian and Ubuntu bugs regarding "-m" option

Why does a Debian bug report refer to an Ubuntu package?

Both bugs were right and have since been fixed. I do agree that this works
without the -m too, but I assume upstream had a reason for implementing -m. And
yes, this forced us to use -M for the Debian add-on "start weeks on Monday".
As I don't see any bug reported here, I just close this report.
