Package: nginx
Severity: wishlist

Currently, it appears that nginx's log_format directive only allows
two representations of the time: $msec (seconds+milliseconds since the
epoch) and $time_local
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Log_Format).

It would be nice to also support ISO 8601 if possible, maybe with
a variable like $time_iso8601.

Feel free to forward this upstream if you think that's relevant.

This is a log entry from my system. It is exactly like the example in the wiki
page you gave me. Therefor, I am marking this bug as closed because the format
your requesting is already available.

12.12.12.12 - - [19/Jan/2011:03:00:53 -0600] "GET /node/10 HTTP/1.1" 200
5478 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)"

If you expect the time to be handled differently (or another time format added),
you may want to consider sending an email to the nginx-devel mailing list.
