Package: security.debian.org
Severity: normal
Until recently, the name of the affected package was printed as first
word on the subject line. Now the subject starts with "Security update
for"
The first (old) version is much better, I already know (from sorting,
from the sender email etc.) that this is a DSA. On limited screen
space, the subject is usually truncated, so in the old version I
immediately see which package is affected. Now I cannot. Compare the
following two lines from my security folder in mutt:
4 Sep 20 Stefan Fritsch ( 14K) [SECURITY] [DSA-2112-1] New bzip2 package
5 N Jan 17 Moritz Muehlenh (2,1K) [SECURITY] [DSA 2148-1] Security update f
-*-Mutt: =IN.Security [Msgs:5 Inc:5 58K]----------------------------- Debian --
For the "old" one I see what package is affected whereas for the new
one I cannot.
Could you please return to the old subject line?
