I have an HP Pavilion tx 2510.
When I start it, the touchpad works great,
if I suspend it, then it doesn't work no more,
if I suspend it, then it works great,
if I suspend it, then it doesn't work no more,
and so on.
This with kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64. If instead I run
linux-image-2.6.35-trunk-amd64 2.6.35-1~experimental.2, then it just works,
even after standby.
I don't know what type of debug info I could provide. For instance, at the
moment, after 3 suspends from booting, the touchpad doesn't work, but all
"dmesg | grep -i wacom" says is:

I think you kind of just answered your own question here.
If it works with the later kernel, then the bug is fixed there.
I'm closing it here because I don't think there is much we could do
about it from the wacom side of things, but if you can identify the
relevant patches to the kernel you may be able to interest the kernel
team in applying them to a later point release. (that will depend a
bit on how invasive the patch actually is).
Otherwise, we should have the newer kernels in unstable sometime in
the next few days now.
Cheers,
Ron
