Hi,
as reported in the Launchpad bug #192341[1], gdebi ships an extra
definition of the application/x-deb mimetype via the
/usr/share/mime/packages/gdebi.xml file.
This is unuseful (as shared-mime-info provides it since years) and
can potentially conflict with the other definition (eg for
translations).
