Package: cryptsetup

Severity: normal
Although I have an older version of cryptsetup installed, this bug
pertains to the current source package (1.1.3), downloaded with
apt-get src cryptsetup.
Compilation using dpkg-buildpackage -B terminates with this message.
gcc: /usr/lib/libgpg-error.a: No such file or directory
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
The libgpg-error.a file is supposed to be in the package
libgpg-error-dev, for with I have the latest version (1.10-0.3) but
there's no such file in it.

with the upload of version 1.10-0.1 of libgpg-error the library files
have moved to /lib. this was intentional, and cryptsetup 1.2.0 packages
from debian/unstable use the library from /lib. same holds for
libgcrypt11.
if you try to build on debian/sid, you should use the source packages
from debian/sid as well.
