Package: gnome-volume-manager
Version: 1.2.1-1

Using scsi-emulation for my LiteOn LTR-48246S prevents
gnome-volume-manager from automounting CDs with that drive. The drive
also is not recognized as a writer within gnome-baker or from nautilus
but works fine with cdrecord or manually mounted CDs.

Unfortunately ATAPI-Burning causes problems with this cd-writer, so I
need emulation.
Kernel is a customized 2.6.14, my debian is completely SID. Automounting
works fine using the same configuration without scsi-emulation. In
addition, automount also does not work with kernel-image-2.6.12-1-686
from SID using scsi-emulation (hdc=ide-scsi), so I think it is not a
kernel issue.

Kind regards,

Martin Seifert
