Package: udev?

Hi all,

= General Information =

I frequently use two different 2 GB USB sticks (Q-Motion and Dane-Elec)
on two different computers (AuthenticAMD and GenuineIntel). Both
computers have GNOME 2.22.3, Debian GNU/Linux 5.0, kernel 2.6.26-2-686
and libc.so.6 2.7. On both machines, I have mount/browse removable
drives/media when hot-plugged/inserted turned on. I am in /etc/group as
"plugdev:x:46:norbert". Package autofs is not installed; udev and mount
are the newest (latest) of Debian Stable.

= Bug Description =

When I insert a USB stick, it is usually auto-mounted. The problem I'm
reporting is that approximately 1 out of 6 times (= guess, obviously),
the USB sticks are not mounted and no pop-up dialogs shows up. This is
regardless which of the two USB sticks and which of the two computers
I'm using. Mounting a USB stick by hand always works.

= Syslog and Messages =

This is just an example:
