Package: cvs
Version: 1:1.12.13-12
Severity: minor

While playing around with the tool hardlink, I noticed that cvs contains
an upstream changelog twice:

[DryRun] Linking /usr/share/doc/cvs/ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.gz to
/usr/share/doc/cvs/changelog.gz (-56.90 KiB)

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 58264 Oct 3 2005 ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 58264 Oct 3 2005 changelog.gz

15e479b8131992535b603895c5ff183a
/usr/share/doc/cvs/ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.gz
15e479b8131992535b603895c5ff183a /usr/share/doc/cvs/changelog.gz

One of them should suffice and it would save around 56kB of disk
space. :-)

Additionally, the package contains quite some changelog for operating
systems irrelevant for Debian binary packages:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 11273 Sep 1 2005
ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.os2.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4369 Sep 5 2005
ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.vms.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17202 Oct 2 2005
ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.windows-NT.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2357 Sep 1 2005
ChangeLog.build-tree.cvs-1.12.13.windows-NT.SCC.gz

Not installing those files (and maybe some more) into the binary package
would save up some additional 35kB of disk space per architecture...
