Package: fuse-utils
Version: 2.5.3-4.1
Severity: minor
AFAICT, fusermount shouldn't be called in order to mount, directly, by the
user, and instead programs should trigger it.
Only for unmounting should it be used...
I think this should be added to the doc / man page.
Otherwise, all mount attempts will lead to :
fusermount: old style mounting not supported

My 2 cents,

Version: 2.8.5-1
in 2.8.5-1 (and probably earlier version, haven't checked), the
fusermount binary is shipped 0755 in the package itself, and later set
suid during postinst, hence closing this bug.
